Apple enthusiasts in Vietnam have something to look forward to as the Apple Store Vietnam and authorized resellers (AAR) have begun accepting orders for the iPhone 15 series. The highly-anticipated smartphones are slated for delivery to customers on September 29.
This year’s release of Apple’s new-generation iPhones is notably different from previous launches. The iPhone 15 series became available in Vietnam just one week after its global launch, and the price difference between the domestic and international markets is minimal.
According to Nguyen Lac Huy of CellPhoneS, these factors are expected to drive stronger demand for the iPhone 15 series compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 14. Within a week of the iPhone 15’s launch, over 16,000 customers in Vietnam registered to receive information about the new products, marking a remarkable 156 percent increase compared to the iPhone 14.
Huy further predicted that, similar to other markets that released the iPhone 15 earlier than Vietnam, there might be a supply shortage of the new iPhones.
To enhance the customer experience, CellPhoneS plans to accept limited orders based on the allocation of products to their retail chain. The company also cautioned that it may soon stop taking orders for certain colors, including the popular Natural Titanium.
Meanwhile, Di Dong Viet’s CEO, Nguyen Ngoc Dat, revealed that the arrival dates for the iPhone 15 series are already confirmed, and more than 13,000 people have registered to receive information about the new products. Di Dong Viet will also implement limited orders, taking into account the number of products allocated by the manufacturer.
A representative from another AAR mentioned that in the initial three weeks, the number of iPhone 15 units expected to arrive in Vietnam will surpass the quantity of iPhone 14 units. They anticipate that the iPhone 15 Pro Max may face shortages as many Vietnamese consumers prefer flagship models over other variants.
As for FPT Shop, it reported that more than 35,000 clients have registered to receive information about the new products, with the majority expressing interest in the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Both FPT Shop and F.Studio by FPT, as preferred retailers, are well-prepared to optimize their logistics and operations for the iPhone 15 series launch, ensuring that customers have a seamless experience from day one.
In the global market, while iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models are expected to be delivered on schedule, iPhone 15 Pro Max units are quickly running out.
