Colliers appoints Sankey Prasad to lead India and Middle East engineering business

Global professional services and investment management firm, Colliers, has announced the appointment of Sankey Prasad as Chairman and Managing Director for India and Chairman and Managing Director for Colliers Project Leaders Middle East. The decision, effective immediately, signifies Prasad’s promotion to oversee both India and the Middle East Engineering business, operating under the banner of Colliers Project Leaders Middle East. Additionally, Prasad will take a significant stake in Colliers’ burgeoning project management business in the Middle East, contributing to the flourishing real estate market in the region.

In the wake of this announcement, John Kenny, Colliers’ CEO, of Asia Pacific, emphasized the strategic significance of Prasad’s advancement. “The promotion of Sankey’s role to incorporate project leaders’ operations in the Middle East deepens Colliers’ capabilities, qualifications, and relationships in both India and the Middle East to better serve our clients across the region,” Kenny stated. Prasad’s leadership style, characterized by collaboration and determination to build scale, aligns with Colliers’ enterprising culture.

The company highlighted that under Prasad’s guidance, they have successfully delivered over 130 million square feet of real estate development spanning India, the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, achieving an impressive 30% year-on-year growth in the last four years.

In his advanced capacity, Prasad will collaborate with Yamin Shihab, Vice President, Project Leaders Middle East, to enhance Colliers’ brand reach and service delivery for capital projects. Simultaneously, he will continue to oversee the growth of Colliers’ India business, working alongside CEO Badal Yagnik, who will maintain leadership in day-to-day operations and scale-building for the India business.
