Australian modular data center specialist DXN has inked a deal with the Government of Timor-Leste worth approximately $1.4 million (AUD 2.1 million).
The contract involves the supply and installation of a Cable Landing Station (CLS) for the Timor-Leste South Submarine Cable (TLSSC) project.
DXN will prefabricate the station in Australia, export it to Dili, and then oversee its installation and commissioning for connection with the NWCS in Australia. This venture marks a significant milestone for Timor-Leste, providing its first international cable landing station, thereby enhancing its connectivity and enabling advanced data and communication capabilities.
